The department caters to the patient-care, in wing as teaching and training to the undergraduate and post-graduate medical students, nursing and paramedical staff, plus research activities. The department boasts of a well-equipped endoscopy suit and well-trained endoscopy technicians, aided by the nursing and helper staff to meet day to day clinical challenges. All the Endoscopy procedures, routine or complicated are stuff performed by the well trained Faculty members. The department has served as an important tertiary superintendency part-way in north India, for various ailments related to the GI tract and the liver under its jurisdiction.
